The University of Great Falls is dedicated to providing a safe and secure community living environment in which students have the opportunity for building relationships, developing social responsibility, enhancing personal growth and accomplishing academic success.

Emilie Hall and the Villa. Emilie Hall, a traditional style Residence Hall for new students consisting of 50 two person rooms is located on the main campus 100 yards from the Student Center and Sullivan Hall, the primary classroom building. The Villa Apartments consist of 55 two-bedroom apartments located three blocks from the main campus. These refurbished apartment units provide accommodations for upper division and graduate single students, as well as a limited number of units for single parents and married couples. Both Emilie Hall and the Villa have TV lounges and washers and dryers. All University facilities are non-smoking. No pets are allowed. University housing is restricted to current UGF students as well as those registered at any state or academic institution. Preference is given to UGF students.

Emilie Hall

Emilie Hall is located on the UGF campus at 1301 20th Street South, Great Falls, Montana.

All full-time freshman and sophomore students under the age of 21 are required to live in Emilie Hall. If space allows, single rooms may be available at an additional charge and are guaranteed for one semester only.

Emilie Hall has a live-in director and a student Resident Assistant on each floor. Coin operated washers and dryers are available along with a TV lounge.

Food Service

The University Commons in the Student Center is the gathering place for all students. The Commons also contains the cafeteria, which will provide meals for students on the board plan as well as meals and snacks for others. The board/meal plan is available throughout the Fall and Spring semesters with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and Spring breaks. A board/meal plan is required for Emilie Hall residents and optional for University Villa residents and other students.

Health Information

The University of Great Falls and the MSU Bozeman College of Nursing sponsor a Student Health Center on campus offering limited primary care to UGF students, MSU-College of Nursing students, faculty and staff. The center is staffed by an advanced practice registered nurse/family practitioners with prescriptive authority. The clinic will be funded through a semester fee. Students who have paid the health fee may use the clinic from the first day of the semester through the last week of classes. Those who have not paid the semester fee ($80/per semester) are expected to prepay a reasonable per visit fee.

Insurance
The University of Great Falls provides information on Medical Insurance for students and on Property Insurance for resident students. Contact Student Services for insurance applications or registration forms.

 

University Villa

The University Villa is located between 18th and 19th Street South and 9th and 10th Avenue South in Great Falls, Montana.

Students 21 years of age and over, juniors, seniors, and graduate students may choose to live in The University Villa. Double units for single students are furnished and include a stove and refrigerator. The apartment units consist of two bedrooms, a bathroom, living room, and kitchen. Coin operated washers and dryers are located in the complex along with a TV lounge. Students who live in The University Villa may choose a meal plan and take some meals in the Student Center cafeteria.

Rent is paid each semester and is due and payable at registration. Prices are subject to change.

Deposit: $150 per individual
Double Room: $1,418 per person/per semester ($2,836/year)
Triple/Quad: $1,045 per person/per semester ($2,090/year)

Housing Applications
A housing application and deposit paid in full must be completed and returned before a student will be placed on the housing list. Every effort will be taken to accommodate preferences for roommates indicated on housing applications.

Housing Requirements
Those students registered at the University of Great Falls, as well as any state or academic institution, are eligible to live in campus housing. Failure to complete the registration process will result in loss of housing.

• Preference will be given to UGF full-time and part-time students.
• ALL students must follow the rules and regulations as stated in the housing handbooks.

Exceptions to these policies are under the authority of the Vice President for Enrollment and Student Services.

Providence Hall

Providence Hall is located on the UGF campus at 1301 20th Street South, Great Falls, Montana.  It is located between Emilie Hall and Trinitas Chapel.

Room Rate:

Single Room: $2,205/semester ($4,410/year)

Double Room: $1,458/semester ($2,916/year)

Triple/Quad: $1,404/semester ($2,808/year)
