Growing up in Vermont, I always wanted to experience new things. My motto is: "Experiences are what you make of them." In my life there have always been obstacles and issues, in fact, I think they come up everyday. Here at UGF, I learned how to adapt to those obstacles and issues and realized that UGF has helped me find a new path. There are situations that I wish I could change and things I would have done differently. All around, I'm a good person, I learned more about myself in these past four years than I thought possible. I know who I want to be and who I don't want to be. I know that being at UGF has been a success for me. I love the friends I have made, and families I've become a part of. I will cherish my time here. Experiences are privileges, I was given many, and I plan on experiencing all of them everyday of my life.

I'm an art major and love it! I've had the honor of working under two of the best artists; Julia Becker and Dave Rothweiller. They have given me such inspiration to become a better creator. Anyone that becomes part of the UGF Art Program will never regret the choice they have made. Being in the Art Building keeps me sane; because it has been difficult being away from my Vermont family. Between spending time in the studio and making art, I have done very well and stayed content. I look forward to my continued growth with my art and spiritual adventure.
