Journal Article

The UGF Library's Magazine & Journal Print Subscription List indicates whether or not the library owns a specific magazine or journal, the dates owned and if the subscription is a current one. Please contact the library if you need a specific article available from the print subscription list.

A to Z provides access to full text electronic journals in the library's collection of electronic resources, regardless of what database the article is in.

Services

Interlibrary Loan
If the UGF Library does not have a book or journal article that you need, we can locate and borrow a copy for you via the OCLC network. The charge for this service depends on the lending library. Charges usually range from free to $10 or more. The lending period for borrowed books and other returnable ranges from two to four weeks. Although borrowed books and other returnables usually cannot be sent out of state, you can keep copies of articles and documents. Please allow 2-3 weeks from date of request to receipt of materials.

Online Databases

The University Library offers Distance students access to almost all of its research databases. The Library uses a computer program called EZProxy to unlock databases for off-campus users. Click on a database link, if you are on-campus, EZProxy lets you through to the database, if you are off-campus, EZProxy asks for a USER NAME. Your USERNAME is your Library Barcode number (USER ID). Type in your USER ID and leave the password field blank. EZProxy should take you right to the database.Distance students need to contact the library and ask to be assigned a barcode.
