2007 Season Outlook: Men's Soccer

The University of Great Falls Men's Soccer Team is eagerly awaiting their inaugural season. The 200-2008 season will be comprised of 25-30 players from Montana to Florida who made the commitment to help UGF build a successful program. "When I took the opportunity to become the head coach at UGF, I understood that I would encounter many obstacles, but the thought of the potential for the program to grow and be successful at the national level enticed me to take on the challenge. It has been a tough year so far, but the journey has been exceptionally rewarding. I am very happy with our recruiting class given the late start. Our team will consist of young men of outstanding character, dedication, and passion. It has been difficult to wait, but I am excited to get the season rolling," said UGF coach Tim Brooks.

Some of the players to watch this year include Dan Evans, a midfielder and Dan Evans, a midfielder who are both from CMR in Great Falls, Chris Worthen, a midfielder from Tacoma, Washington, Jesus Mendez, a midfielder from Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and Robby Ekins, a goalkeeper from Huntington Beach, California.
