2008 University of Great Falls Lady Argos and Argos Summer Camps School is almost over and that means the Lady Argos and Argos will be conducting various summer camps throughout June, July, and August. The University of Great Falls offers camps in basketball, volleyball, wrestling, and soccer. Please continue to check back for more information as soon as it is released. If you know of anyone or if you would like to attend any of these camps, please see the information below and then download the appropriate camp brochure and send it in as soon as possible. UGF Boy's Basketball Camp UGF Boy's Basketball Camp (Grades 1-8) Experience continuous fun and exciting athletic activity, develop new skills, as well as fine tune skills, attend daily clinics, and have fun while participating in team play and games. Camp includes a camp tee-shirt, lunch daily, a basketball. June 16-19; 9am-3pm. in the University of Great Falls McLaughlin Center. Fee: $110.00. When: June 16-19, 2008 (Monday-Thursday)

UGF Wrestling Camps Electric City Wrestling Camp 2008 (Grades 1 -7) This camp is open to Boys in grades 1-7. The three fundamental areas of wrestling will be taught covering takedowns, top positions, and bottom positions. Successful collegiate wrestlers will be on hand as camp technicians.
What to Bring: wrestling shoes, running shoes, shorts/sweats, extra t-shirts, water bottle, sleeping bag, pillow, towels, toiletries, workout gear, casual play clothes, warm jacket, swim suit, softball glove, and spending money for snacks.
Coaching Staff: Luke Roberts and Aaron Jensen (UGF assistant coaches), Steve Komac (Great Falls High Wrestling Coach), Joel Auers (NAIA All-American), Adam Monroe (Great Falls High Assistant Coach) and Scott Filius (Havre High Wrestling Coach).

Central Montana Team Wrestling Camp (Junior High - High School) This camp is intended to provide quality technical instruction while allowing kids to compete in a significant amount of live wrestling through Team Dual competitions. Wrestlers wishing to attend without a team will be placed on existing teams in vacant weight classes. Camp will conclude with a takedown tournament on the last evening.
The camp will combine advanced techniques, superb training opportunities, and a lot of fun. The camp will give participants a great experience and provide them with the tools needed to reach their goals. Highlights of the camp will be an abundance of competition to meet various levels, exposure to all styles and techniques of wrestling, individual attention from coaches and counselors, technique, live wrestling and strategy sessions and on-site dorm facilities.

UGF Girl's Basketball Camp UGF Girl's Basketball Camp (Grades 2-6) Learn fundamentals, team concepts and individual workout drills at this instructional basketball camp. Participants will spend the week developing new skills while learning sportsmanship in a fun, competitive situation. Camp fee includes a camp tee-shirt. July 14-17; 9 a.m.-12 p.m. in the University of Great Falls McLaughlin Center. Fee: $ 75.00. When: July 14-17, 2008 (Monday-Thursday)

UGF Girl's Volleyball Camp UGF Girl's Volleyball Camp (Grades 1-8)
Your Argo Volleyball Camp is designed to provide instruction for all levels of play – to develop beginning skills as well prepare experienced players for more competitive play. Each camper will have the daily opportunity to learn from, play with and get to know the 2008 Argo Women’s Volleyball Players and Coaches. Campers will be given the opportunity to learn the skills and mentality helped the 2007 Lady Argos become a top 25 program in the nation. Campers will receive a free tee-shirt and volleyball. July 28-30; 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. in the University of Great Falls McLaughlin Center. Fee: Early Registration (by May 23) $100.00 or Late Registration (after May 24) $120.00. When: July 28-30, 2008 (Monday-Wednesday)

UGF Girl's Volleyball High School Camp (Grades 9-12)
Your Argo Volleyball High School Camp is designed to provide instruction for high school athletes – to prepare girls for their high school seasons as well train experienced players for elite competition. Each camper will have the daily opportunity to learn from, play with and get to know the 2008 Argo Women’s Volleyball Players and Coaches. Campers will be given the opportunity to learn the skills and the correct mentality that helped the 2007 Lady Argos become a top 25 program in the nation. Campers will receive a free tee-shirt and volleyball. July 25-27; 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. in the University of Great Falls McLaughlin Center. Fee: Early Registration (by May 23) $100.00 or Late Registration (after May 24) $120.00. When: July 25-27, 2008 (Friday - Sunday)

UGF Soccer Camp UGF 2008 Soccer Camp (Grades 1-8) The UGF Soccer Camp will be based on Brazilian Philosophies. A strong emphasis will be put on developing skills (dribbling, passing, receiving, finishing, etc.), the Brazilian Warm-Up, and having fun.
What to Bring: Please bring shinguards, water bottle (with water), and a soccer ball. All players are required to wear shinguards. Coaching Staff: UGF Camp will include UGF Assistant Coach Jeff Panik and UGF soccer players.
When: August 4-7, 2008 (Monday - Thursday)
Times: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Age Group: Grades 1 - 8 (Ages 6 -14)
