    Biographical Information

    I am a native Texan. I dropped out of graduate school to join the Navy and fly F-4 Phantoms during the Vietnam War. I toured both the Mediterranean and Southeast Asia with the military. After returning from Vietnam, I finished graduate school and worked as a Houston police officer. Since leaving law enforcement, I have taught mathematics at Southwest Texas State University and Montana State University. I have been at the University of Great Falls since 1981 teaching mathematics, computer science, and police firearms. I also do some mathematical and statistical consulting and private training in personal safety and defense.

    Anything mathematical, world travel, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, hunting, and personal defense.
