    Biographical Information

    Sr. Mary Kaye Nealen, a Sister of Providence, continues as an Associate Professor of Theology and Religion while she serves as Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at UGF. Her studies, which resulted in a Ph.D. in systematic theology from the Catholic University of America, included five months of research in South America. For five years in Montreal, Canada, she assisted the international Sisters of Providence as General Councilor. Her professional presentations and publications address the subjects of church, Providence, Latin America, and Catholic higher education. As a member of the Theology and Religion faculty, she collaborated in establishing the Certificate in Lay Ministry joint program of UGF and the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings.

    Ethics, both social and personal; theology of the church, especially of North and South America; Providence; and church-related higher education.
