Through the UGF Early Admission, high school students may earn university level credit. Tuition cost for early admission is reduced by two-thirds. These credits can then be applied to a degree at UGF or transfer to another post-secondary college or university once they graduate from high school.
The Presidential High School fund was established for students of character graduating from high school. This scholarship is awarded to ONE student per high school based on your academic and extracurricular achievements.
It is our wish that graduates of high school who wish to receive a private, university education receive this scholarship based upon the following criteria:
the applicant's desire to attend the University of Great Falls to pursue a course ofstudy leading to a degree in any field
proven academic potential with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA
a minimum ACT Score of 22 or a combined SAT score of 1040 ( 520 math, 520 verbal).
demonstrated service and leadership ability
The Presidential Scholarship is renewable each year based on 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher and is $7,500, approximately half of tuition.The award will be payable upon receipt of registration at UGF and will be divided between the fall and spring semesters of the recipient's academic year at the University of Great Falls. .

The University of Great Falls offers numerous Athletic and Fine Arts Scholarships to our students. These scholarships are available to student athletes, musicians, artists, writers, and actors.
The scholarships range in dollar amount and are awarded based on need, commitment, and merit.

Montana Catholic Parish Scholarship |
As a sign of our long-term commitment to the Catholic Church in Montana, the University of Great Falls in honored to extend the Montana Catholic Parish Scholarship.
A one time $500 scholarship is offered to every graduating highschool senior who belongs to a Catholic parish within the state of Montana.

Providence Health and Services Scholarship |
The University of Great Falls was founded by the Sisters of Providence, who are also the foundresses of Providence Services. As a result, all employees of Providence Services Organizations and their immediate families are eligible to receive a 25% discount on the cost of tuition.

Continuing Student Gift Scholarships |
Enrolled UGF students who are planning on attending next year may apply for gift scholarships, which will be awarded for Fall Semester 2007 and Spring Semester 2008. These awards are for one year only and are not renewable. The applicant must demonstrate academic and leadership potential.
Interested individuals should complete the enclosed Scholarship Application cover sheet and attach a working copy of their college transcript, a resume, and a personal statement. To receive priority consideration, applications must be received by February 28, 2007 in the Financial Aid Office, ATTN: Financial Aid Director, University of Great Falls, 1301 20th Street South, Great Falls, MT 59405.
Items to consider including in your personal statement or resume are:
Memberships in campus organizations
Memberships in community organizations
Leadership roles within organizations
Personal, educational, and career goals
Special awards and achievements
Personal statements should not exceed two typed, double spaced pages.
By submitting a scholarship application you are authorizing the release of information contained on the application as well as other appropriate information on file in the Offices of Financial Aid, Admissions, and Records for the purpose of determining eligibility for a scholarship administered by the University of Great Falls. In addition, you authorize the release of your name, major, and class for publicity purposes.
All scholarship recipients are required to write a thank you letter to the donor and provide a copy of it to the Financial Aid Office before the scholarship funds are disbursed to your account.

Leadership and Community Service Scholarship |
The Leadership and Community Service Scholarship was established for students who actively participate in community service activities, as well as their involvement in leadership roles in extra curricular activities. This scholarship will be awarded to ten (10) Freshmen or Transfer students at the University of Great Falls.
This scholarship award is based on involvement in leadership and community service activities and will be divided between the fall and spring semesters of the recipient's academic year at the University of Great Falls. The award will be payable upon receipt of registration at UGF. A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to qualified applicants.

Alumni Scholarship |
The Alumni Scholarship who is the son or daughter of an alumnus (graduate) of the University of Great Falls or the College of Great Falls. This scholarship will be awarded to ten (10) Freshmen or Transfer students at the University of Great Falls. The award will be payable upon receipt of registration at UGF.

Mathematics Education Scholarship |
The Mathematics Education Scholarship Award was established to encourage Montana high school graduates to become Montana certified teachers of mathematics. Scholarships will be awarded up to five (5) new students at the University of Great Falls. A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to qualified applicants. Students must have a grade of a B- or higher in all of their math classes including algebra, geometry and trigonometry.
The award will be payable upon confirmation of attendance at UGF. Upon completion of the application process students will be assigned to a designated advisor within the mathematics area.

CONTINUATION CRITERIA:
Students will be eligible to receive the award for their second year at UGF based on full time enrollment and satisfactory progress. They must have a 3.0 GPA, and successfully complete at least one course required by the Mathematics major/minor program of study AND one course required by the education program. Students may also be eligible their third and fourth years of attendance to apply for Science and Math Access to Retain Talent-SMART grant through the Financial Aid process.
Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship |
This scholarship is awarded to Phi Theta Kappa transfer students. Recipients must maintain a 3.5 GPA while at the University of Great Falls.The Phi Theta Kappa Award is a one time $1,500 scholarship.
