If your Student Aid Report (SAR) indicates you were selected for verification, or you received notification from our office, you must follow instructions through your Argo Express account or the letter received by the Financial Aid Office.
Not all students are selected for verification. If you are selected, you must complete this process before your financial aid can be processed. Federal verification is the process by which the Department of Education verifies FAFSA information. About 30% of applicants are selected to complete verification. In this process, the financial aid office will be comparing information from the FAFSA with documents provided by the student. If there are differences between the provided information and the FAFSA data, we will make corrections and notify the student in writing.
