Please follow these steps in completing your application for admission:

  1. Complete all sections of the online application; the application fee of $35.00 is waived when you complete the application online. Or, request a paper application by writing to the University of Great Falls, Office of Admissions or emailing enroll@ugf.edu.

  2. Complete the student information section of the Letter of Recommendation Form.
  3. Give your recommendation form and your request for an official copy of your high school (secondary school) transcript to your guidance/college counselor.
  4. Request that you’re SAT or ACT scores be sent to The University of Great Falls for admission consideration.
  5. Submit your application online and ask your counselor to mail the recommendation form and transcripts to: Office of Admission, University of Great Falls, 1301 20th St. South, Great Falls, MT 59405.
  6. You may also drop off your paper application at the Office of Admissions, located at:

  8. Freshman applicants with completed files will be notified of acceptance on a rolling basis approximately two weeks after all credentials have been received.
  9. Upon admission, candidates must submit a $150 enrollment deposit to reserve a place in the class. If you plan to live on-campus, please also include a $250 housing deposit.

Admission Deadlines: The University of Great Falls has a rolling admission policy with a priority admission deadline for fall semester. Applicants may apply for admission at any time; however, all applicants are strongly urged to apply at least one month prior to the first day of classes of the term for which they intend to start at the university. All required documents must be submitted to the Office of Admissions before a student can register for classes.

Veterans: The University is approved for veterans under PLG 358, and for students under the War Orphans Assistance Act, PLG 634, and the Vocational Rehabilitation Bill, PLG 894, and PLG 815. Inquiries about the education benefits and requirements for veterans attending the university should be addressed to the Financial Aid Office.
