Providence is one of two freshmen Community Living complexes located on campus. First-year students under the age of 21 are expected to live in either Providence Hall or Emilie Hall. Exceptions may be made for students who live at home with their parent(s) or legal guardian(s).
Providence houses nearly thirty first-year students on same-sex floors and in predominately single-occupancy rooms. There are a limited number of double and triple-occupancy rooms as well. The ground floor contains a classroom, Galerie Trinitas, a social lounge, and an exit to a private courtyard. Men reside on the first floor and women on the second floor. Bathrooms and laundry facilities are also on the second floor. Wi-Fi is provided throughout the whole building.
Each resident is provided the following:
· A twin size bed
· A desk with a chair
· A closet/ armoire or dresser
To ensure a Community Living assignment, the following must be completed by July 1st.
· $250 deposit must be submitted
· Completed Community Living application must be submitted
Applications after July 1st will be assigned on a first-come, first serve basis.
