A Pair of Argos Earn All-Region Volleyball Team Honors. GREAT FALLS, Mont. - The University of Great Falls is honored to announce that Kelsey VanUden was named to the 1st Team All-Region Volleyball Squad. VanUden, a junior from Thousand Oaks, Calif. led the Argos with 400 kills on the season. Senior Taylor Lucero from Fresno, Calif. was named as an honorable mention athlete by the regional selection committee.

FC Volleyball Academic All-Conference Team Announced
WHITEFISH, Mont. — Frontier Conference Commissioner Kent Paulson released the 2010 academic all-conference volleyball team today. To be eligible for the team, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in standing, maintain a 3.0 GPA and be enrolled at school the previous two semesters. More>

NAIA Fall Sports Scholar-Athletes Announced
Great Falls, MT – The NAIA has announced the fall sports student-athletes that have been named 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. The University of Great Falls had 14 student-athletes named to this honor for men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, and men’s and women’s cross country. Women’s soccer and volleyball had the most recipients with four a piece. More>

Great Falls Stun Saints Again
Great Falls, MT – For the second time this season the University of Great Falls volleyball team topped the Saints of Carroll College, this time doing it in five sets. The Argos would start off slow again but rallied in true Argo fashion to take the conference match 19-25, 16-25, 25-16, 25-18, 15-11. Great Falls Knocks Off #20 Saints
Helena, MT – The University of Great Falls Volleyball team dropped the first set before they would put three straight together to down the 20th ranked Carroll College Saints tonight in Helena, MT. The Argos struggled again early losing the first set 19-25. Quickly putting the set behind them, the Argos went on to win the next three sets in dominating fashion 25-18, 25-18, 25-16. UGF Volleyball Adds JUCO All-American
Great Falls, MT – University of Great Falls volleyball coach Arunas Duda has announced the signing of 5’10” middle blocker Taylor Lucero to a NAIA/Frontier Conference Letter of Intent today. Lucero comes to UGF after a highly successful two-year career at Fresno City College (CA) where she earned 1st Team All-American honors in the junior college ranks this past season. She will enroll in classes and begin competition in the upcoming fall season of 2010. More>

Buck & Nunes Earn All-Region Honors
Great Falls, MT – University of Great Falls volleyball player Cali Buck (Choteau, MT/Choteau High School) has been recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) as she’s been named to the 2009 AVCA NAIA All-Northwest Region Team while teammate Tosha Nunes (Fallon, NV/Churchill County High School) was named to the Honorable Mention All-Northwest Region Team. Together, Buck & Nunes led the Lady Argos to an 18-11 overall mark, including an 11-3 showing in conference to earn a share of the Frontier Conference regular season championship. More>
