Intramural Tournaments
The University of Great Falls is proud to offer a number of different intramural and recreation activities for its student body, as well as faculty and staff. The university recognizes the need for individuals to maintain physical fitness and for students to partake in meaningful, fun activities that lighten the rigors and stress of every-day college life. In the past year, the university has expanded its intramural program to include the following activities:
• Dodgeball
• Pickle Ball
• Flag Football
• Basketball
• Broomball
• Pool Tournaments
• Ping Pong Tournaments
• Whiffle Ball
• “Snow” Soccer
• Men’s “Stud” Volleyball
• Faculty/Staff vs. Students Slow-Pitch Softball Game
The university has also made the gymnasium in the McLaughlin Center open and accessible to students, faculty and staff on a regular basis. The gym is open approximately 10-12 hours per week. Those who utilize the facility during these “open recreation” hours, partake in a number of activities from organized team sports to individual exercise.
The university has also recently constructed a brand new, state-of-the-art fitness and wellness center as part of the McLaughlin Center. The addition of such a facility demonstrates the university’s commitment to the betterment of the UGF community. The facility is open to students, faculty and staff and will host intramural activities as well.
