‘40’s
Josephine (Brooker) Arthur ’48, is the past President and a frequent traveler with the Friendship Force of Great Falls. She is also an honorary member of the Great Falls Advertising Federation.

 

Loretta M. Day, '49, was inducted into the High Plains Heritage Center-Cowboy and Cowgirl Hall of Fame.



‘50’s

Gail Remington Dickson, Beverly Erdman Medved, Nancy Gibbons Stulc, Dorothy Schweitzer Kern, Alice Charbonneau Smith, and Judy Burbridge Ludtke , all of whom received their elementary education diplomas in 1956, celebrated 52 years of friendship at a reunion in Lewistown. This was the tenth reunion they have held since their first teachers’ convention in Great Falls. Nancy Stulc made the arrangements for the reunion which included a ride and dinner on the Charlie Russell Chew-choo, attending the Chokecherry Festival in Lewistown, and the “What-the-Hay?” displays and craft show at Utica. ‘60’s
Wadean E. Willis, ’61, passed away in Topeka, Kansas on April 8th. She earned a teaching degree from CGF while her husband, Reuben Willis, was stationed at Malmstrom AFB. Wadean taught English in Kansas and in Department of Defense schools overseas before retiring eighteen years ago.

‘70’s
Mark S. Gray, ’74, was recently named a Distinguished Educator by the Helena Education Foundation. Gray is an English teacher at Capital High School in Helena, Montana.

‘80’s
Mandy Strelow Burch, ’81, the National Sales Manager for Student Banking at US Bank Corp. has retired. She now resides in California.

‘90’s
Shawn Narancich, ’95, was hired as the Vice President of Research for Ferguson Wellman Capital Management in Portland, Oregon.

Stacy Eve, ’96, firm administrator for Hamilton Misfeldt & Company, P.C. in Great Falls, earned her certification as a professional in human resources from the Human Resource Certification Institute. To become certified, an applicant must pass an examination demonstrating a mastery of the body of knowledge in the field.

Lt. Col. Michael Hough, ’96, assumed command of the 527th Space Aggressor Squadron at Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado. Colonel Hough’s awards include a Defense Meritorious Service Medal, an Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, a Joint Service Commendation Medal and an Air Force Commendation Medal.

‘00’s


Brittany Halmes, ’04, and Nick Budeski were married on June 7th, 2008 in Belt, Montana. Brittany is the Assistant Registrar at the University of Great Falls and Nick is an Assistant Wresting Coach at the University of Great Falls.
