The University of Great Falls announces the graduation of its third and largest class of RN to BSN students yet, with 60 students ready to walk down the aisle. This is nearly triple the number of graduates since the RN to BSN program’s inception three years ago, with only 19 students graduating in 2010 and 22 in 2011. Continued growth is expected now that the University has received its five-year, full accreditation by CCNE back in November of 2010. A pinning ceremony will take place on May 11th at 1:00 pm, followed by a dedication ceremony at 2:30 pm. During the dedication ceremony, a myrtle wood bench designed by the first graduating class of BSN students will be showcased, along with the unveiling of a commemorative plaque. The bench, first presented by students back in 2010, was dedicated to the University community as a token of gratitude for the support and education received. Several trees were planted around the bench and the site itself has been selected as a dedicated spot of health and healing for all future students to enjoy.
